The first PolyU Alumni Ambassador Inauguration and Dinner was held on 7 September 2018. Witnessed by over 100 PolyU staff, alumni and students, appointment certificates were presented to 50 Alumni Ambassadors at the ceremony by the officiating guests including Prof. Timothy W. Tong, President of PolyU; Dr Miranda Lou, Executive Vice President of PolyU; Mr Alex CB Wong, President of Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations and Ir Johnny Fan, Convenor of Alumni Ambassador Sub-committee of Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations.

The appointed Ambassadors are former Student Ambassadors or outstanding alumni with remarkable achievements in various fields, such as sports, arts and culture, and are eager to serve PolyU. They are committed to actively promote the University, strengthen the alumni network, contribute in various PolyU events and support the development of the University.
